Day 1
Arrival in Hurghada (Red Sea Coast)
Arrive at Hurghada Airport, where you’ll be greeted and transferred to your accommodation on the Red Sea coast. Enjoy the rest of the day unwinding from your journey. This first evening is dedicated to settling in, renewing intentions, and preparing your heart and mind for the spiritual and historical journey ahead.

Day 2
Journey to the Valley of Humaithara
After breakfast, travel along the Red Sea coastline toward the valley of Humaithara, home to the resting place of Abu al-Hasan al-Shādhili. This sacred site has welcomed seekers for centuries, offering a profound space for reflection, dhikr, and spiritual presence.

- Short lessons or reminders inspired by his teachings
- Evening reflection session back at accommodation

Day 3
Transfer to Cairo & Begin Islamic Heritage Visits
Make your way to Cairo and begin exploring some of the most important spiritual sites in Egypt. Today focuses on the great scholars and figures whose legacies shaped Islamic history.
You will visit:

Sayyida Nafīsa Mosque

Day 4
Today is devoted to the heart of old Cairo, where centuries of Islamic civilization left their mark. Walk through timeless streets and monuments, learning how Egypt became one of the great centers of Islamic scholarship.
Highlights include:
The Qalawun Complex, a masterpiece of Mamluk architecture
The Sultan al-Ghuri Complex, a blend of madrasa, mausoleum, and spiritual center
Optional visit to surrounding historic souqs and marketplaces
A short evening gathering offers space to reflect on the day’s lessons.

Day 5
Coastal Heritage: Trip to Alexandria
Travel to Alexandria, Egypt’s Mediterranean jewel and a city rich in early Islamic heritage. Stroll through historic quarters, visit notable maqāms, and appreciate the coastal beauty that has inspired scholars, poets, and travelers for centuries.
You may visit sites such as:
Shrines of early saints and scholars
Old mosques with Ottoman, Fatimid, or Mamluk influences
Return to Cairo in the evening.

Day 6
Knowledge, Reflection & Personal Time
This day focuses on integrating your spiritual and historical journey.
Possible activities:
A guided visit to a center of Islamic learning
Viewing historic manuscripts or artifacts
A final teaching session or halaqah
Personal time for journaling, duaʾ, or exploring a nearby mosque
The evening concludes with a final group reflection or dhikr session.

Day 7
Farewell & Departure
After breakfast, enjoy a calm morning — perhaps a final walk, a last mosque visit, or time in a historic café. Depending on your flight, you may have time for a quick stop at a local market.
You will then be transferred to Cairo International Airport for your journey home, carrying the spiritual light and historical depth of your time in Egypt.
