Muslim Legacy Islamic History Certificate Program
The Muslim Legacy Islamic History Certificate encompasses the study of Muslim and Islamic religious, cultural, historical, intellectual, political, and artistic history, and their civilizational impact on human society over the past one and a half millennia.
Requirements
Students must successfully complete 27 course credits. Courses are drawn from a list of approved courses offered by Muslim Legacy. Courses must be distributed as follows:

Crusades in Focus - 3 credits
Mongol Dynasties of Islam - 3 credits
The Mamluks in Focus - 3 credits
The Muslim World through the lens of Ibn Batuta - 3 credits
Latin America - 3 credits
North America - 3 credits
Testing
Students will be expected to complete the following testing during each course:
A midterm exam with a passing grade no later than 10 days after it is made available
A final exam with a passing grade no later than 10 days after it is made available

This Muslim Legacy certificate in history may be especially beneficial to those wishing to engage the rich, vast, and diverse legacy and history of Islam and the Muslim Civilization.
