Day 1
Arrival in Tunis
Arrival at Tunis–Carthage International Airport.
Our team will welcome you and assist with a smooth transfer to the hotel.
Evening stroll through the surroundings to get a first glimpse of Tunisia’s vibrant culture and centuries-old Islamic influence. -

Day 2
Begin your journey in the UNESCO-listed Medina of Tunis, one of the oldest and best-preserved Islamic cities in North Africa.
Visits include:Zitouna Mosque — the heart of Islamic scholarship for over a millennium
Traditional souqs showcasing Islamic crafts, textiles, and local artisan culture
Historic madrasahs such as Madrasa Slimaniya and Madrasa Mouradiya
Overnight in Tunis. -

Day 3
Kairouan: The Spiritual Heart of Tunisia
Travel to Kairouan, one of the most important Islamic cities in the world.
Key sites include:Great Mosque of Kairouan (Sidi Uqba Mosque) — founded in the 7th century
Aghlabid Basins — remarkable early engineering
Mausoleum of Sidi Sahbi (Barber’s Mosque)
Explore markets filled with traditional carpets and Islamic crafts.
Overnight in Kairouan or return to Tunis. -

Day 4
Sousse & Monastir: Islamic Fortresses and Coastal Heritage
Travel to the coast for a day exploring ancient Muslim strongholds:
Ribat of Sousse — one of the earliest and best-preserved ribats in the Muslim world
Sousse Medina — centuries-old Islamic urban life and architecture
Monastir Ribat — iconic location showcasing early Islamic military architecture

Day 5
Ancient Zaytouna Legacy in Zaghouan & Islamic Influence in Carthage
Morning visit to Zaghouan, known for its Ottoman-era mosques and historical Islamic settlements.
Continue to Carthage, exploring sites that reveal layers of early Islamic influence over ancient civilizations:Early Islamic quarters
Archaeological remains reflecting Muslim presence after the 7th century expansion
Enjoy sunset at the seaside village of Sidi Bou Said, known for its Andalusian-Islamic blue and white architecture.

Day 6
Islamic Scholarship, Crafts & Local Traditions
A day dedicated to Tunisia’s living Islamic cultural heritage:
Workshop in Islamic calligraphy or traditional Tunisian ceramics
Visit to the National Museum of Bardo to view early Islamic manuscripts and artifacts
Explore the Islamic heritage districts of La Marsa or Le Kram
Evening reflection session on the history of Islam in the Maghreb. -

Day 7
Breakfast at the hotel followed by free time for shopping or a final stroll in the medina.
